Easy Simple Low Carb Diet Plan

One of the reason most diets fail is because they are simply too difficult to follow. You have to count calories, count grams of protein, sugar, and fat. The diet becomes more trouble than it’s worth. Most people just go back to eating the way they did before they made a life change for the tenth time. What dieters need is an easy simple low carb diet plan.
The simplest diet plan goes back to the basics. Even grocery stores can give you the key to an easy simple low carb diet plan. Most grocery stores are designed exactly the same way. If you walk the perimeter of the store, you will find fruits and vegetable together, then beef and poultry, fish and seafood, diary products and eggs and finally fruit juices. The middle isles are mostly processed foods which you should avoid as much as possible as the easy simple low carb diet plan relies mostly on fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, and lean meats. What could be simpler?
If you want to make your life even easier, order a vegetable tray from your grocery store or buy one of the already prepared ones. Put the tray of low carb vegetables on the dinner table with a low carb salad dressing or a little olive oil with spices and you have your first course. Add some grilled fish or chicken and you have the beginning of a perfect low carb meal. Then add a perfectly prepared fruit tray, also from the grocery store, and you have a great end to your low carb meal. Of course, with the fruit, you have to show restraint. About a cup of fruit with no sugar added is about right.
Another idea is the dinner salad. Use the darkest lettuce possible; add broccoli, onions, tomatoes, spinach, and a small amount of low carb salad dressing or vinaigrette and you have the beginning of a great salad. If you have some non sugar salsa, mix it with your low carb ranch dressing and you have a nice spicy dressing. Because the salsa is low calories, you can have more dressing. Use lean chicken or turkey to add the finishing touches to your salad. If you have no time to cook the meat, you can find some excellent microwavable chicken and turkey in the deli section.
Using the already prepared salads makes food preparation very easy. The Caesar salad is an excellent dinner salad. Add chicken and you have a salad that you would easily order in a fine restaurant. Find a low carb Caesar salad dressing if you don’t want to use the one that comes in the prepared salad. Lose the croutons but you can have the parmesan cheese that is included. There are many different prepared salads; just be careful not to over use salad dressing. A salad drenched in salad dressing is as bad as eating a bacon cheese burger. Remember calories still count.
Breakfast is often a difficult meal to plan for a low carb meal plan. Most breakfast foods other than eggs, bacon, and ham are high in carbs. This is where your processed foods come in handy. If you don’t have time to fix breakfast or hate breakfast foods, try some of the new low carb breakfast bars or cereals. Add some skim milk and you have a very nutritious breakfast. Remember it’s the most important meal of the day. Skipping breakfast is a real no no in any diet.
An easy simple low carb diet plan is so easy to create. Think of eating only the best fruits and vegetables, lean meats, and fish. Eat as few processed foods as possible and you are on your way to low carb bliss.
