Low Carb Diet Recipes

There are as many low carb diet recipes as there are low carb web sites and recipe books. Unfortunately, most of the recipes are simply re-hashes of other recipes with some ingredient substitutions or too many weird ingredients. I have complied many recipes that are easy to make and list ingredients that most people already have in their homes. Hope you like them.
Low Carb Spinach Recipe
Bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Add a bag of cleaned spinach. Bring back to a boil and boil for 2 minutes. Drain completely until all water is out. You might want to use a salad spinner. Sauté’ one small onion (diced) in 2 Tablespoons garlic flavored oil or plain olive oil. Add 1 more Tablespoon of oil and add drained spinach. Sauté’ spinach and onions until tender. This should not take long. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Low Carb Pork Tenderloin Recipe
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 lb pork tenderloins
Mix garlic, salt, pepper & thyme in small bowl. Rub mixture over tenderloin and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Cook on outdoor grill until done. Enjoy
Yogurt & Poppy Seed Salad Dressing Recipe
I don’t know about you but I have searched the shelves of grocery stores for a salad dressing that is good and doesn’t have sugar. I gave up; this homemade one is great.
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
