Low Carb Foods Carbohydrate Diet

When you first begin your low carb diet, you should try to eat foods that are healthy and low in calories. You also should try to make the food as tasty as possible. Here are a few recipes that will help you get on your way.
Fish Seasoning
1 cup Old Bay Seasoning. 1/4 cup Cajun or Creole seasoning. This can be as spicy as you want. I use a very spicy Creole seasoning found in any grocery store. 1/4 cup granulated garlic
Mix and put in a shaker. This seasoning enables you to bake or saute fish with little or no fat. Hope you like it as much as we do.
Grilled Chicken Wrap
Whe I cook chicken breasts on the grill, I do a marathon. I cook for several hours and get dozens of grilled chicken breasts to freeze. I marinate them overnight in a Low Carb Garlic or Italian marinade. Be sure they don’t contain sugar or you could make your own marinade.
Microwave the frozen chicken breast. Cut into small pieces. Place in low carb, high fiber tortilla. Top with salsa and non fat sour cream. It is messy but very filling and delicious. This can be made in less than five minutes, a real plus. I hope you like it as much as I do and the hotter the salsa the better.
Low Carb Baked Tomatoes
Slice tomatoes into thick slices. Top with one of the seasoning mixes in Alexander’s Gourmet Bread Dip Seasoning. I particularly love Parmesan Blend. You can drip a little olive oil on top if you like. I don’t because the olive oil adds calories. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
This is so delicious. Don’t be tempted to use the mixes for bread dipping unless you have a little whole wheat bread. Enjoy
